ROMAN CITY + BATHS
The city plan is based on a four-pointed star with a sun dial at the very center— it dedicated to the sn god Helios. The plan is a blend of the Castrum plan's perpendicular streets with the radial street's generated by the sun-star plan. The clash between the two grids creates irregular plots that explore the possibility of placing more public / mixed-use buildings where they receive more attention. The public baths are a feature building. The design reiterates the clash between orthogonal and radial hierarchies of the plan design.
